St. Sebastian River Virtual Trail ToursThere are many walking trails along and around the St. Sebastian River. Most are maintained, open and available to the public. We hope to inspire you to get outdoors, take your friends, family and neighbors, and enjoy the beauty of nature and the spectacular river in our back yard! After all, "No one will protect what they don't care about; and no one will care about what they have never experiened," observed Sir David Attenborough. This is one of the featured quotes from the Famous Quotes page of our website. Below is an overview and list of trails, their managing agencies and locations, for which we are taking photos, creating informational handouts, and may eventually create "virtual" tours of, allowing you to visit from the comfort of your home. Please click on the links of the managing agencies for an overview of the sites. Click on the specific facility name for a page featuring photos and information about each. This is an ongoing project and we continue to add photos of the various plants, flowers, insects and critters that occur throughout the year, segregated by month, so that you will have an idea of what you may see when visiting during various seasons. We thank volunteers Ted Beck and Sandy Peterson for the great photos and video work, allowing you to "visit" these facitilies. Enjoy!
